A holiday to remember

Nature, culture, and traditions

Holidays in Brenzone

A combination of lake and mountain, colours and fragrances: spending a holiday in Brenzone sul Garda is a unique experience ideal for anyone looking for a regenerating break in close contact with nature. Our land, with its wide beaches, temperate climate, charming small towns overlooking the lake, and medieval villages perched on the slopes of Mount Baldo, is a corner of paradise.

The typically Mediterranean vegetation is lush: olive groves hundreds of years old, vineyards, oleanders, cypresses, palm trees. In Brenzone, traditions intertwine with medieval history that exudes from the churches and buildings, in the old village of Campo, where time seems to have stopped. Nature, but also history and culture.

Summer entertainment is provided by numerous sports events, regattas and initiatives that will fill your holidays in Brenzone: the most anticipated events include ‘Magical nights in Campo’ with concerts and historical re-enactments, ‘The Olive Oil Festival’, ‘San Rocco Festival’, ‘Agola Festival’, ‘Porto and Assenza Festival’.

The Ethnography Museum, the Fishing Museum in Cassone, and the more renowned Museum of Scaligero Castle in Malcesine, are all worth a visit.

What to do on Lake Garda

Sports and activities for everyone

We can guarantee that you will never run out of things to do on Lake Garda during your holidays at Hotel Firenze!
Brenzone sul Garda is heaven for anyone who loves sports and likes to keep active.

The clear waters and the renowned Ora and Peler winds that sweep across the lake every day create the perfect conditions for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing and SUP.

Fraglia Vela Acquafresca sports centre and the kitesurfing centre are just 50 metres from the hotel; SUP, canoes and bicycles can be hired nearby (150 m).

There are numerous mountain bike routes, for all levels of fitness, on the slopes of Mount Baldo, the most renowned of which is Punta Veleno – arriving in Prada di Brenzone with its 900-metre rise – a challenge even for expert cyclists.

In 2015, Brenzone became the first Nordic Walking Park of Lake Garda.

For anyone who enjoys high altitude hiking, Malcesine has a cable car system, Funivia del Baldo, that in just 15 minutes can take you up to 1750 meters on Mount Baldo, the Botanical Garden of Europe, with its unspoiled flora and fauna.

From there, you can enjoy the breath-taking views and follow adrenalin-boosting mountain bike trails, try the paragliding experience, or walk down along the paths.

Guided walks to suit all levels of fitness, organised by the Association of Hoteliers, allow to discover Medieval Churches and charming old villages, as well as numerous natural trails.

Now that you know all the activities that Lake Garda has to offer, all you have to do is enjoy them. We look forward to seeing you!
