Lake Garda holidays in Brenzone

Nature, culture and traditions.

A mixture of lake and mountain, of colours and scents: all of this is encompassed in Brenzone on Lake Garda. A paradise for anybody who, like us, is lucky enough to live here and a unique experience for anyone searching for a refreshing holiday close to nature. Our area is a true paradise for the beauty of the countryside, wide beaches, mild climate, picturesque villages which skirt the lake and the old medieval hamlets perched on the slopes of Monte Baldo.

The typically Mediterranean plant life is lush: centuries-old olive groves, vineyards, oleanders, cypress trees and palm trees. In Brenzone, traditions intertwine with a history which goes back to the Middle Ages and can be found told in its churches and on column capitals in the old town of Campo, where it is as if time has stopped. Not only nature, there is also history and culture.

There are so many sporting events, regattas and festivals planned during the summer, which you can easily fill your days with during your holidays in Lake Garda and Brenzone. Among  these, we should mention ‘Notti Magiche a Campo’ (‘Magical nights in Campo’), a festival packed with concerts and historical re-enactments, ‘Il Festival dell’Olio di Oliva’ (‘The Olive Oil Festival’), ‘La Sagra di San Rocco’ (‘The Festival of San Rocco’), ‘La Festa dell’Agola’ (a food festival celebrating the Agola, a species of fish found in Lake Garda) and ‘Porto ed Assenza in Festa’.

The Ethnographic Museum, the nearby Museum of Fish in Cassone and the more famous Scagliero Castle Museum in Malcesine are definitely all worth visiting.
