Things to do in Lake Garda
Activities and sports for every taste
With so many things to do in Lake Garda you will be spoilt for choice! Brenzone sul Garda is an active people and sports enthusiasts’ paradise.
Its crystal-clear waters, together with the famous winds Ora and Peler, blowing every day, facilitate water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing and SUP (Stand-Up Paddle). The Acquafresca sailing centre and the kite centre are only 50 metres from the hotel while 150 metres away there is the SUP, canoe and bicycle hire shop.
There are multiple mountain bike routes, of various levels of difficulty, which twist and turn on the slopes of Monte Baldo. The first and foremost of these is the Punta Veleno climb ending at Prada di Brenzone which, with a climb of 900 metres, puts even the most experienced of cyclists to the test.
In 2015 Brenzone became the first Nordic Walking Park of Garda and its instructors, who belong to the Federazione Italiana (Italian Federation) are available for individual and group lessons.
For those who prefer altitude trekking, in Malcesine is the Baldo Cable Car which will carry you 1750 metres to the summit of Monte Baldo, named the Botanical Garden of Europe with pristine flora and fauna, in only 15 minutes.
From up there you can admire a breath-taking panorama and move on to adrenalin-fuelled mountain bike paths, experience descent by paraglider or continue along the paths on foot.
All guided walks suggested by the Hoteliers Association, from the discovery of the medieval churches and column capitals to the typical villages and many nature trails, are within anybody’s reach.
Now that you know all the possible things to do on Lake Garda, you just have to try them all. We will be waiting for you!
